Crime Branch Arrest 5 Suspected Terrorist Planning Explosion In Bengaluru

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested five suspected terrorists, identified as Syed Suhel, Umar, Janid, Mudasir and Zahid. Arrested on July 19, the terrorist team were allegedly planning to carry out a blast in Bengaluru. Notably, all five are accused in a 2017 murder case and were in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, where they started their terrorist activities. CCB has also seized explosive materials, said the CCB team.

Fire Cracker Unit In WB Explodes, 7 Injured, 5 Killed

An explosion at an illegal firecracker unit located in Egra in Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal killed five people and critically injured seven others on Tuesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. The impact of the explosion "was so massive" that the factory, which was being run from a residential building, collapsed, police said. Furthermore, the TMC leader demanded a probe into the explosion.

Chhatisgarh Naxal Attack: 10 Police, 1 Driver Killed

Ten police personnel and a driver were killed in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district on Wednesday in the worst attack on security forces in the Maoist insurgency-hit central Indian state since April 2021. Furthermore, Police said an improvised explosive device (IED) was used to blow up their vehicle when the policemen were returning from an anti-Maoist operation. Visuals showed the blast left a crater at the scene of the attack.

Suicide Attack Exploded In Balochistan, 9 Officials Killed

In Balochistan, at least nine police officials were killed after a suicide blast struck the Sibi area on March 6. As per sources, the explosion occurred after a suicide bomber rammed a motorcycle into a police truck in the area. A police spokesman Mehmood Khan Notizai confirmed the attack and said, an investigation is underway and a case has been registered. Moreover, no group claimed responsibility.

Afghanistan Explosion Near Mosque Leaves 3 Injured

In an explosion in Afghanistan, at least three people were injured, confirmed sources.  The explosion occurred near the Imam Abu Hanifa mosque in Afghanistan’s Faryab province on February 8. 3 Children Injured In Leftover Shell Explosion In J&K’s Shopian

In Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, three children have been injured in an explosion near an explosion site on September 13, informed officials. The incident occurred Heff Shirmal in Shopian, when a leftover shell exploded, injuring three children playing nearby. Following the incident the children were rushed to a hospital.
