Suspended Mumbai police Sachin Vaze, in his exclusive letter to NIA, alleged that ex-Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh demanded Rs2 crore. Reportedly, the amount was to ensure Vaze's reinstatement into Mumbai Police against the NCP supremo Sharad Pawar's decision. Moreover, he also accused Deshmukh of asking him to collect money from bars and restaurants. The letter also ropes in state's Transport Minister Anil Parab for the same.
