Elon Musk Tweets About Possibility Of Tesla Factory In India

Tesla owner Elon Musk tweeted that he will probably open a factory in India if successful with imported vehicles. According to sources, Tesla had written to the ministry for reduced import duties on electric vehicles. "We are hopeful that there will be at least a temporary tariff relief for electric vehicles," Musk wrote. Others had previously have persuaded for reduced duties but were always met with resistance from the government.

Delhi: Fire Breaks Out In Shoe Factory, 6 Missing

The fire which broke out in a shoe factory in Peeragarhi Udyog Nagar has led to the disappearance of six employees, and no bodies have been found so far. Notably, fire control room had received a call around 8:22 AM. Reportedly, 31 fire tenders and more than 50 firefighters indulged to extinguish the fire. The police have added five-six persons in the godown to the suspect list.

NGO Rescues 61 Child Bonded Labours From Delhi-based Factories

In a raid at two factories in Delhi’s Narela region, the Rescue Foundation with the help of local authorities freed 61 child labours including 13 girls. Aged between 12-17 years, the children were trafficked from Bihar and employed as bonded labourers in a footwear and geyser manufacturing firm.  Moreover, they were forced to work at the factory for Rs 100-150/day. 4 Workers Die After Factory's Roof Collapses In Delhi

In a tragic incident, four people have been killed after a factory's roof had collapsed in New Delhi’s Khayala area on December 19. In addition to it, two people have been critically injured due to the accident. Police have confirmed that around six labourers, including three women, were in the building during the accident. Moreover, the cops have charged the factory's owner Mahendra Pal regarding the accident.
