Delhi police Bust Fake International Call Centre For Duping NRIs
Delhi police on August 3, busted a fake international call centre, that duped Non-Resident Indians (NRI). The cyber wing of the south east district police carried out the operation, and around 13 persons have been arrested. According to the police, the accused posed as officials and collected money from NRIs. Furthermore, 20 mobile phones, eleven computer monitors, eleven CPUs and two cars were seized from their possession.

Over 35 Arrested In Kathmandu For Running Fake Call Centre: Nepal
In Nepal's Kathmandu, as many as 35 persons including a Chinese national have been arrested for allegedly running a fake a call centre in Tinkune. The accused are being suspected for carrying out illegal activities and transactions. The police also confiscated laptops, computers and other documents from the office. Reportedly, the call centre is being operated since two years, and over 2,000 persons are employed.

Police Bust Fake Call Centre In Bangalore's Whitefield, Seizes Items Worth Rs 2 Crore
In Bangalore's Whitefield, police raided a fake call centre in Gayathri Tech park, and arrested six persons for allegedly scamming people abroad. Reportedly, the accused posed as bank or Amazon employees. The accused, all hailing from Gujarat, have been detained. The police have also seized items worth Rs 2 crore, including 127 desktops, four laptops, 150 headphones, six iPhones, ten internal hard disks, three luxury cars, and more.

Ghaziabad Police Busts Fake Call Centre, Arrests 2 Members: UP
Ghaziabad police on September 30 said that they busted a fake call centre and arrested two accused, Raghav alias Ragho and Shiv Kumar, in Uttar Pradesh's Kavi Nagar behind Gaur Mall. The city SP Nipun Agarwal said the call centre duped many people on the pretext of providing them loans. The police recovered 11 cellphones, seven passbooks, six ATM cards and six checkbooks.
