Delhi Police arrested a 30-year-old man, identified as Amit, for impersonating as a police officer to extort money. The Delhi Police Special Cell apprehended a Pakistani terrorist, identified as Mohammad Asraf, from the Laxmi Nagar district of the national capital on October 12. He was living under the guise of a false identity based on fabricated documents and also lived in many cities as Maulana. Police also seized an AK-47 rifle and a hand grenade form his possession. Reportedly, Asraf was in contact with Pakistan's ISI.

Sanjay Meshack, an ex-councillor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands was arrested due to allegedly providing Bangladeshi, a fake residence certificates like voted card, PAN card and Aadhaar card.
