Family Including 3 Children Found Dead, Investigation Underway

A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Kannur district of Kerala, in which five members of the same family have been found dead in one house, including three children. The district police registered a case and said, a family of five lived in a house in Cherpuza, and local informed about the dead people. The police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem and launched an investigation.

Family Claims Newborn's Face Eaten By Animal At Government Hospital; Investigation Underway

The family of a newborn boy who passed away at a government hospital shortly after birth claims that an animal bit off half of the baby's face. The police have submitted the body for a post-mortem examination, and the district magistrate has formed an investigation committee to look into the situation. Saira Bano, the wife of Siraj Ahmed, was reportedly taken to the Mujehna community health centre on August 26.

Drunk Man Threatens IndiGo With Hoax Bomb On Flight To Prevent Family From Leaving India

A drunk Chennai man contacted the police control center and reported a bomb had been put on a Dubai-bound airplane on August 27. The IndiGo aircraft was supposed to leave Chennai at 7:20 a.m., but it was delayed due to a bomb threat, which turned out to be a fake. The call was traced back to Chennai, who claimed to be trying to prevent his family from going to Dubai.

SC Permits Centre to Retain Mukesh Ambani's Family's Security Cover In Mumbai

Supreme Court granted the Centre permission to continue providing protection to businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family in Mumbai on July 22. A bench accepted the Central Government's appeal against the Tripura High Court's decision on a PIL. SC Orders States To Provide Compensation To Family Members Of COVID-19 Victims

Supreme Court mandated all states and union territories to immediately pay compensation to family members of COVID-19 victims on July 18. A bench ruled that if a claimant has a complaint about the nonpayment of compensation or the rejection of their claim, they should contact the appropriate grievance redressal committee. The bench ordered that the cash be transferred to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) account within two days.

Unable To Bear Economic Crisis, 8 Sri Lankans Flee To India

Many Sri Lankans fleeing the crisis-hit island republic, arrived in India's Tamil Nadu, on July 5, confirmed the police.  Approximately eight persons, including children, belonging to two families, landed here, as couldn't handle the crisis in Sri Lanka. They travelled to India through waterways and were spotted by fishermen, who later informed the marine police. Furthermore, with this, so far 105 Sri Lankans arrived in India.

A Muslim family in Bihar have donated land worth Rs 2.5 crore for Viratt Ramayan Mandir, construction. Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, a businessman from East Champaran said," Majority of the land is owned by our family. I think it is my responsibility to do something for the construction of the temple." The temple is being built on 125 acres land, of which the family gave registry of 23 kattha land.

Debt-Ridden Weaver, His Wife and Son Commit Suicide: Andhra Pradesh

A weaver, his wife, and their son killed themselves after they were unable to repay their loans on February 1, in Andhra Pradesh. The family suicide pact was due to the high interest on the loans they had taken. The dead bodies are shifted to the government hospital for postmortem. As per the Police, a case will be registered for the same, and the harassment angle will be investigated.
