West Bengal: TMC Warns Countrywide Protests Against Farm Bills
While showing her agitations against the farm bills, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has warned countrywide protests to support the farmers. Terming the bills as "anti-farmer bills", CM Mamata said that she was deeply concerned about the farmers. Moreover, She added, "The GOI is selling everything .... We must not allow treasures of our nation to be transformed into BJP party’s personal assets.”

Kejriwal, Amarinder Involve In Verbal Spat Over Farmers' Protests
Delhi CM Aravind Kejriwal took a dig at his Punjab equivalent Captain Amrinder Singh for blaming the Delhi government on the ongoing farmers' protests. Kejriwal has alleged that Amrinder has joined hands with the BJP. Moreover, Kejriwal said that Amrinder was angry since the Delhi government "did not allow the nine stadiums to be converted into jails." Bilkis Dadi Arrested For Supporting Farmers' Protests
Police have arrested the Shaheen Bagh protest-famed Bilkis Dadi on December 1 for supporting farmer protests in the Delhi-Haryana border. Bilkis has stated that they were daughters of farmers and they would support the protests. Congress-ruled States Asked To Pass Law to Override Centre's Farm Bills
Congress President Sonia Gandhi has asked the Congress-ruled states to introduce legal frameworks that will help to overrule the farm bills. A Congress' statement suggested the states to legislate under Article 254(2) of the Constitution that allows states to pass a law which, once approved by the President, can nullify the effect of the Centre's law. Reportedly, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has initiated the process in this regard.
