Farmer Seeks Loan Of Rs 6.65 Cr To Buy Helicopter & Rent It Out

Kailas Patange (22), a farmer from Hingoli, applied for a bank loan of Rs 6.65 crore to buy a helicopter and rent it out. Patange, a resident of Taktoda village, applied for loan in a bank in Goregaon, stating that farming in the two acres of land he owns has become unaffordable due to irregular rainfall and drought-like conditions. "Who says only big people should have big dreams?," said Patange.

Anti-Corruption Bureau Traps Asst Engineer Of APEPDCL: Andhra Pradesh

An Assistant Engineer of the Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution fell for the trap set up by Anti-Corruption Bureau and got caught taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from an aqua farmer. The farmer, G. Gangaraju lodged a complaint that the engineer demanded a bribe to issue an electric metre for the fish tank. The farm is located at Denduluru village in the West Godavari district.

Samyukta Kisan Morcha Says Not Participating In 2022 Punjab Poll

Ahead of the upcoming Punjab election, two leaders of the nine-member coordination committee of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on December 25 announced that the Morcha won't contest the election. Furthermore, they said the Morcha was only made to resolve the farmers' issues related to the three agricultural laws. It has also been announced that disciplinary action will be taken if anyone uses the organisation's name in the poll.

In the biggest development of Punjab politics, former CM Amarinder Singh, who recently left the Congress on October 19, announced to launch his own party before the 2022 assembly election. Amarinder further said that he's ready to ally with like-minded parties. However, him joining BJP is unlikely, owing to the farmers' issue. ''The Battle for Punjab is on. Farmer's Daughter From Bundelkhand Scores 100% In Class 12th

Ansuiya, a Class 12 student from Badera village in the Mahoba of Uttar Pradesh secured 599 out of 600. She scored 99.8%, however, she achieved a perfect score of 100% when classified among the best of five. Also, Ansuiya's father is a farmer and laborer and her mother works as a homemaker. She was an all-rounder in school who played basketball enjoyed listening to music and painting.
