Book 'In Kanuno Me Kala Kya' Opens Commentary About New Farm Laws

A book named 'In Kanuno me Kala Kya' has been released by farm union 'Samyukt  Kisan Morcha'. Written by Punjab and Haryana High Court senior advocate Joginder Singh Toor, the book emphasizes the implications of the recently passed farm laws. Besides shedding light on its bad effects, the book gives a detailed commentary on the farmer's situation. Meanwhile, the book has been sent to the Prime Minister and Agricultural Minister.

Farmers Call For Bharat Bandh On March 26 Marking 4 Months Of Protest

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha, a wing of farmer union, announced Bharat Bandh on March 26, marking four months of protest against the new farm laws. Reportedly, the Bandh will be effective from 6 AM to 6 PM with public places, including road, rail transport, and markets, will be closed across the country. Moreover, farmer leaders urged the public to support the peaceful bandh and honour the 'annadatta' of the country.

Marking 100th Day Of Protests, Farmers To Block KMP Expressway On Mar 6

To commemorate the 100 days of protest against the Centre's farm laws, farmers have decided to block the 135-km-long Western Peripheral Expressway on March 6. Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has issued a statement in this regard saying thousands of farmers will block the KMP expressway for 5 hours - between 11 AM and 4 PM. Farmer leader Balvir Singh Rajewal said, "no toll will be collected at the toll plazas during this time."

Uttar Pradesh: Family Booked For Draping Body Of Farmer In Tricolour

The kin of a farmer, who died on January 25 during the farmers' protest at the Ghazipur site, have been booked for draping the deceased's body in Tricolour. The UP Police have filed an FIR for insulting the Tricolour as draping the national flag in a civilian funeral is an offence. Reportedly, the kin, including the farmer's mother, were booked after the video of the last rites of the deceased surfaced on social media.
