Murder Accused Sarvajeet Singh Sent To Seven Day Police Custody

The farmers' protest over the three Central laws has been going on for over 10 months now. Recently, Lakhbir Singh, aged 35, was found dead at the farmers' protest sites. Reportedly, his legs and hands were decapitated, his body had several deep cuts, and the body was found tied to a barricade. However, Sarvajeet Singh, the accused has been sentenced to seven-day police custody.

Varun Gandhi Shares Video Of Lakhimpur Kheri Violence, Demands Action

BJP leader Varun Gandhi on October 5 shared a video from his Twitter account and claimed it to be the video of Lakhimpur Kheri violence. He demanded action to be taken based on the video. The 25-second video shows an SUV running over the protesting farmers in UP. Notably, Congress leader Priyanka also tweeted the clip. Earlier, farmers' leaders had alleged the car belonged to Union Minister Ajay Kumar's son.

Delhi To Witness Another Farmers' Protest; Security Tightened

Delhi to witness farmers' protest at Jantar Mantar starting July 22 from 11 am to 5 pm amid the ongoing parliament Monsoon session. Kejriwal Rejects Proposal To Set Panel Of Lawyers: Farm Law Case

Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Cabinet on July 16 rejected the state police's proposal to form a lawyers' panel to assist farm law cases, government sources stated. In a cabinet meeting led by Arvind Kejriwal, it was decided that the Delhi government's lawyers will be prosecutors in the farm law cases.
