Ajaz Khan Tests COVID Positive In Custody; NCB Staff To Undergo Test

Actor Ajaz Khan, arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug syndicate case, has been shifted to a hospital after testing COVID-19 positive. The officers investigating Ajaz's case will also now be tested for COVID-19. The Bigg Boss-famed actor was arrested on March 31 from the Mumbai airport. Reportedly, Ajaz has been sent to the NCB custody till April 3.

NCB Detains Actor Ajaz Khan Over Drug Related Investigations

Bigg Boss-famed actor Ajaz Khan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau on March 30 from the Mumbai airport over his alleged link to a drug syndicate. Coming from Rajasthan, Khan was held after his name popped up in the Mumbai police interrogation with drug peddler Farooq Batata's son Shadab Batata. Earlier also, the Mumbai Police had arrested Ajaz with Ecstasy tablets, a psychoactive drug.

NCB Nabs Drug Lord Farooq's Son In Link With Bollywood Mafia

Shadab Batata, son of Mumbai's drug-lord Farooq Batata, was nabbed by Narcotics Control Bureau on March 25, after several raids in Lokhandwala, Versova, and Mira Road. The agency recovered large quantities of ganja, cocaine, and LSD along with MDMA drug worth Rs 2 crore.
