Study: Premature Infant Blindness Declines After Consuming Fatty Acids

A study suggested that blindness in premature infants could be reduced if newborns were exposed to a combination of various fatty acids. The research led by Sweden's University of Gothenburg has pronounced a decline in retinopathy of prematurity, a condition that can cause visual impairment, among extremely premature infants.
