Women Activist Kamla Bhasin Dies At 75
Kamla Bhasin, a renowned feminist who fought and worked for gender-related issues for decades in India and South Asian nations, died at the age of 75 on September 25. Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, activist Harsh Mander and Prasant Bhushan have expressed their condolences on Twitter. Ms. Bhasin, a poet and author of gender related books accomplished the "Laadli Life Time Achievement Award" for her work in 2017.
