Lionel Messi Wins Prestigious FIFA Men's Best Player 2022 Award

Argentian football player Lionel Messi won the best FIFA Men's Player 2022 Award. The footballer received at the FIFA Football Awards 2022. This is the second time that Messi has won the most prestigious and biggest award in the Football world, the first was in 2019. FIFA Tickets Sales Reach 2.45 Million For Qatar 2022 World Cup

The International Football Association (FIFA) has sold 2.45 million tickets for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with less than 100 days until the start. Fans from Qatar, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, France, Argentina, Brazil, and Germany purchased the most tickets. From November 20 to December 18, the Middle East and Arab nations will host the maiden FIFA World Cup.

CoA To Hold AIFF's Elections With No Voting Rights To 'Eminent Player'

Ahead of the FIFA ban, the Committee of Administrators (CoA) running football in India had agreed to hold AIFF's elections without giving voting rights to 'eminent' players. The decision was taken by the committee as per the world body's wish after FIFA suspended India for "undue influence from third parties".  Moreover, "The country is scheduled to host the FIFA event from October 11 to October 30.
