From Alia Bhatt to Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun, winners receive the prestigious National Film Awards. The winners of the 69th edition were announced on August 24 and the winners received their awards at an event in New Delhi on October 17. Alia Bhatt slayed in her wedding saree to receive award for Gangubai Kathiawdi, Kriti Sanon, for Mimi. Allu Arjun was the best actor male awardee for Pushpaa.

BAFTA Awards 2022 Makes History, 'The Power Of The Dog' Wins Best Director Movie

This year's BAFTA  Awards made history with Jane Campion winning the best director for 'The Power Of The Dog'. She became the third woman to win best director. The award show was held in London's Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Australian actor-comedian Rebel Wilson. The British awards are usually held in the same week as the Oscars, yet this year's Oscars will be held on March 27.
