Director Of Doctor Strange Intrigued By RRR, Says 'Roller-Coaster Of A Movie'
Scott Derrickson, director of Doctor Strange, saw RRR and appreciated it on social media. He revealed that he and his family saw RRR on his birthday, July 16, and were blown away by "roller-coaster of a movie." RRR, a fictionalized story of the lives of two Telugu freedom warriors named Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, is directed by SS Rajamouli and starred Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, respectively.

Debutant Malayalam Director Alleged Of Raping Woman, Arrested
Malayalam debutant film director Liju Krishna, has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman. He was arrested on March 6, from location of his upcoming debut film 'Padavettu' . Reportedly, Krishna will be produced before the magistrate in Kochi on March 7. He allegedly raped a woman from December 2020 to June 2021. Furthermore, the director has been booked under IPC sections, and shooting for the movie has been stopped.

Steven Speilberg To Direct A Film From Steve McQueen's Film Bullitt
Director Steven Speilberg is set to orchestrate a new movie established on Frank Bullitt, a character played by Steve McQueen in the 1968 suspenser Bullitt. The forthcoming movie is not a remake of the actual but a new attitude of the character. The film will also have Steve McQueen's son, Chad and granddaughter Molly McQueen as executive producers for the project.

Actor-filmmaker Robert Downey Sr, the father of actor Robert Downey Jr, passed away at the age of 85. Downey Sr. who was suffering from Parkinson's disease for over five years, succumbed to death in his sleep at his residence in New York. Downey Jr paid him tribute through Instagram saying, “He was a true maverick filmmaker, and remained remarkably optimistic throughout.” His notable films were Putney Swope and Greaser's Palace.
