In a shocking incident, a seven-year-old boy has been accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl from his neighbourhood in Kanpur Dehat district. The incident happened in a village under the limits of Akbarpur police station of the district late on Sunday night, came to light after police lodged FIR under sections 376 of IPC and section 5/6 of the POCSO Act on the complaint of the girl’s mother.
Shockingly, clips from Shahrukh Khan's movie 'Jawan' have gone viral. Acting upon it, Red Chillies Entertainment has filed a case against an unidentified individual for alleged theft under the Information Technology Act. The case was lodged at Santacruz police station on August 10. As per the FIR, someone stole clips from the 'Jawan' movie and shared them on Twitter, thereby violating copyright. The probe is underway.
Horror for tourists, especially foreigners continues in Goa as another attack was reported. A Dutch woman was allegedly attacked with a knife by a bar employee in Goa's Canacona region. The police who registered a case said, the victim was at the bar when the accused employee started harassing her and attacked her causing injuries to her face and hands. The victim is being treated at a hospital.
In a shocking incident, a Jharkhand girl set herself on fire, after being forced to remove her clothes. On October 15, a class-IX student took the drastic step, after a female invigilator asked her to remove clothes, suspecting her of cheating and hiding chits in her uniform, for the exams. The police registered a case based on the victim's statement and launched an investigation. Meanwhile, the victim is undergoing treatment.

In Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli, a class VII student allegedly committed suicide, after being beaten by a class teacher. Identified as Yash Singh, the child was thrashed by the school principal and teacher, after they caught him cheating in an exam, and committed suicide after he came back home. The Uttar Pradesh police registered a case against the school principal under the abutment of suicide and launched an investigation.

In Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahar district, a 39-year-old Delhi Police Constable allegedly hanged himself in his house. Identifed as constable Amit, he came home on leave a day earlier and allegedly hanged himself on August 10, said Circle Officer (CO) Secunderabad Satyendra Singh said. In Patiala, police registered a case against six inmates for an alleged attack on the assistant jail superintendent of the central jail Amarvir Singh. The incident happened on July 20, when the superintendent went to check barracks in the Patiala Central Jail. The accused are Amanpreet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Sukhdeep Singh and Jagdeep Singh. The six were also accused of extorting money from another inmate and threatening her.
