In a devastating incident, a fire erupted at a bustling commercial complex situated in the Transport Nagar area of Korba district, Chhattisgarh, on June 19. Gripping visuals posted on social media captured the desperate attempts of numerous individuals as they resorted to leaping from the first floor to flee from the spreading flames. Firefighters reached the spot and were seen in action to contain and extinguish the fire.

In Thane, a major fire broke out at Orion Business Park adjacent to Cine Wonder Mall.  The incident occurred at around 8:30 pm, on April 18. The efforts by Balkum Fire Station firemen are still underway to douse out the fire. Moreover, the authority confirmed that no casualties have been reported from the spot. Avinash Sawant, regional disaster management cell (RDMC) chief is supervising the operation.

Delhi Man set himself on fire, after receiving a notice of property seizure by a court. On February 25, a resident of Gokalpuri Kapil Kumar (33) doused himself and died at 3:43 pm, confirmed police on February 26. "Some officials arrived at the Gokal Puri Police Station and produced the court order seeking police assistance for taking possession of one property in Gokal Puri village," said police.

A fire broke out at a mall in Haryana’s Gurugram, on September 30. The mall has been identified as Global Foyer Mall. The incident occurred in the early hours of the day, and soon after the incident, several fire tenders rushed to the spot to assist with dousing the fire. The exact cause of side is yet to be ascertained. Further details on the matter are awaited.

In Mumbai's Dadar West, a massive fire broke out at a store in Yash Plaza, a commercial building, confirmed fire officials on September 27. As per sources, the fire broke out at 9:28 pm, on September 26 in the eight-storey building. While the fire engulfed in three floors, smoke went to other floors, with no casualties. In addition, four fire tenders rushed to the spot and tried to douse fire.
