PM Modi Announces Compensation For Victims Of Dhanbad Fire Accident
PM Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh, for those who died in a fire accident and Rs 50,000 for injured people in the Dhanbad fire accident. On the evening of January 31, a massive fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Dhanbad district, Jharkhand, killing 14 people, including three children. Approximately 15 fire tenders were rushed to spot to ablaze fire and an investigation was launched.

Fire Breaks Out At ICU Ward Of Brahm Shakti Hospital In Delhi; 1 Patient Dead
In Delhi's Rohini, a fire broke out in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward of Brahm Shakti hospital, killing one patient, on June 11. Reportedly, all patients have been rescued, except one who was on a ventilator. At least nine tenders were rushed to spot to douse the fire. Massive Fire Breaks Out At Chemical Factory: Maharashtra
In Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), situated at Shrirampur in Ahmednagar district, a massive fire broke out on March 28. Reportedly, it took the fire brigade three hours to bring the situation under control. The cause of fire is unknown, as of now. "The fire gutted the chemical drums kept in the factory, but no casualties are reported so far," reported ANI.

CM Chandrashekar Rao Announces Rs 5 Lakh EX-Gratia To Bhoiguda Accident Victims
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families who lost their kin in the Bhoiguda fire accident. On March 23, 11 workers died due to a possible short circuit at a scrap factory in Hyderabad's Bhoiguda area. Reportedly, the fire mishap occurred at 4 am, after which fire fighters rushed to the spot immediately to douse the fire. Further details are awaited.

Gujarat: Huge Fire At Vadodara's Alkapuri Underpass Reaches Railway Station
A massive fire broke out at Vadodara's Alkapuri underpass around 5.45 PM on April 28. The fire blazes pierced into bushes, hoardings on the road, extending the fire to railway stations’s platform 1. The road connecting the city and the railway station was blocked and people from the platforms have been evacuated. Fire Blazing Hospital Could Not Stop Doctors From Performing Surgery
An eight-member Russian medical team performed a two-hour long open heart surgery without fearing when the hospital was under fire. Over 120 people were evacuated including the heart patient, with no injuries reported. The 1907-built, only hospital with cardiology department in Blagoveshchensk city, caught fire after a short circuit. The hospital officials blew the smoke out of the operation theatre with an emergency electricity cable.
