Massive Fire Breaks Out In Multi-Storeyed Building, Claims 6 Lives

In Telangana's Secunderabad region,a  massive fire broke out in a multi-storey building on Thursday night, confirmed sources. In the incident, six people including four women, in their mid-20s. Furthermore, the police and fire brigade rushed to the spot, doused the fire and rescued seven people, trapped in the building. An investigation has also been launched to find out the cause of the fire in the building.

Ambulances Carrying Patient Catches Fire: AP

In Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district, 108 ambulance turned into ashes, after it caught fire. Getting into details, on March 13, an ambulance, carrying patient for dialysis, caught fire due to a suspected short circuit, confirmed sources. Although no casualty was reported, as driver alerted the patient and his family, and escaped the fire, the fire destroyed tobacco worth Rs 40 lakh of tobacco and police registered a case.

Massive Fire Breaks Out In Malad's Slum, Killed 1 Person

A massive fire broke out in Malad's slum area, resulting in the death of one 12-year-old boy identified as Prem Tukaram Bore. The incident occurred in the early hours of February 13, confined to 50 to 100 huts in Malad and was a major (level-two) fire, confirmed police. Eight fire engines, four jumbo tankers and an ambulance were sent to the spot, to control the massive fire.

19-Year-Old Boy Charred To Death In Gandhi Nagar Market Fire Incident: New Delhi

In New Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar market fire incident, a 19-year-old boy was charred to death on October 5, informed officials. The deceased was reportedly an employee and owner’s brother at the shop that caught on fire. The incident was first reported by Aftab, a worker at the cloth shop, who saw smoke from the shop as he was returning from the main road.

Jabalpur Hospital Fire: FIR Filed Against Hospital Manager & 4 Doctors For 'Negligence'

An FIR has been filed against five persons including four doctors, in connection to Jabalpur fire incident in Madhya Pradesh. The manager of New Life multi-speciality hospital and four other doctors have been booked under IPC sections 304, 308 and 334. The provisions pertain to causing hurt and death due to negligence. The incident left at least nine dead, after which, the hospital has been sealed.

Massive Fire Breaks Out At Jamia Nagar Parking Site, Leaving Dozens Of Vehicles Destroyed: Delhi

In Delhi's Jamia nagar parking site, a massive fire broke out causing damage to dozens of vehicles, on June 8. Delhi Fire Service reported that around seven fire tenders were used to douse the fire. Reportedly, a total of 10 cars, one motorcycle, two mopeds, 30 new e-rickshaws and 50 old e-rickshaws had caught fire. No casualties have been reported, however, dozens of vehicles were gutted to ashes.

CM Arvind Kejriwal To Meet Families Of Gokulpuri Fire Incident Victim

Reacting to the tragic fire incident, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal expressed grief and said, he will meet the families of Gokulpuri fire incident victims. Taking to Twitter Kejriwal said, "I got to hear this sad news in the morning. I myself will go there and meet the victims." Earlier, on March 12, about 30 shanties were burnt and around seven people died after a fire broke out in the Gokulpuri area.

4 Member Committee To Probe Mumbai Fire Incident: BMC

Massive Fire Breaks Out At Godown In Mustafa Bazar: Mumbai

A massive fire broke out at a wooden godown in Mustafa Bazar area of Mumbai, during the morning of January 10, at about 05:30 am. As per sources, ten fire fighters were rushed to the spot to control the fire. No casualities have been reported from the incident and the cause of fire and the damage caused is yet to be ascertained.
