Fire Mishap

A fire broke out in a building in Mumbai's Kurla area in the wee hours of Saturday. Fire brigade personnel rushed the spot as soon as information about the fire was received and rescued around 50-60 people from different floors, out of which 39 people were admitted to the nearby hospital.Fire has been controlled, the BMC and situation is said to be under control.

A fire broke out in a multi-storey building at Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, killing five persons and leaving seven others injured. Following the incident at the said three-storey building, the injured persons have been rushed to a hospital for treatment. Reportedly, members of the same family were residing in that building. Further details on the matter is awaited.

In London’s Southwark, a fire broke out under the railway arches on Union street, on August 17, informed London Fire Brigade. The footage of the incident was shared on social media, in which a thick column of smoke can be seen rising above the capital city. Reportedly, around 70 firefighters and over 10 fire engines were deployed to douse the fire.

A fire broke out in Uttar Pradesh Advocate General's office on July 17. The office is situated in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar building, and white smoke was seen passing out from the building. About 15 fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Reportedly, fifth to eighth floors were impacted in the mishap, however, no casualties were reported. Files of government cases are kept in the eighth floor.

In Gandhinagar's Kalol GIDC, a fire broke out in a pharma company, on May 22. About 10 firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the fire, reported ANI, over a Tweet. Furthermore, it has been informed that no workers were present on the premises when the fire broke out. However, the information can be confirmed only after the fire has been doused, read the Tweet.
