Firecracker Explosion At Bihar Businessman's Residence Leaves 6 Dead, 8 Hospitalized
An explosion inside the home of a firecracker trader in Khudai Bagh hamlet in the Khaira police station area of Bihar's Saran district killed six individuals on July 24. Shabir Hussain was named as the businessman. The explosion blew up a part of the home, while the rest caught fire. Up to eight individuals were buried beneath the ruins. The eight people who were injured were sent to the local hospital.

Massive fire At Tamil Nadu's Cracker Factory, 11 Kills & 37 Injured
A firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu's Sivakasi went ablaze on February 12, leaving 11 dead and 37 injured. The eruption was a result of friction in manhandling chemicals, which caused critical burn to 26 people including four with 90% burns.
