Locals Catch 15 Kg Fish From Water-Logged Street; Video Goes Viral

A video of locals fishing in a water-logged area in Kolkata has gone viral on social media. Plenty of fishes reached the streets of Kolkata, due to waterlogging caused by the "heaviest rains received in a decade". Nearly 15 kg of fish was caught by the locals on September 24 and was distributed in the neighbourhood. The video was shared by a local by the name, Piu Mondol.

TN Fishermen Accuse SL Navy For Throwing Stones, Cutting Nets

Around 300 Tamil Nadu, fishermen have accused the Sri Lankan Navy of allegedly threatening them for catching fish near its territory on July 17. Moreover, some fisherman also claimed that the Navy personnel cut off their nets, threw stones, bottles at them, and ordered to go back from the traditional fishing area. Due to this, many fishermen said that they have incurred losses as their livelihood depends on fishing.
