Australia Bans Entry Of Its Citizens Flying Back From India

The Australian government on April 30 announced that the entry of its residents who have been in India, for less than 14 days from their departure time from the country, will be barred from returning from May 3. Reportedly, people will be subjected to fines and five year imprisonment on violating the new emergency rule. Australia, having no community transmission, has already temporarily suspended direct flights from India.

DGCA Extends Suspension Of Scheduled International Flights Till Feb 28

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has extended the ban on international flights till February 28. However, flights approved by the DGCA and international all-cargo operations will not be affected by the decision. Special international flights operating under Vande Bharat Mission and 'air-bubble' agreements will also continue to fly.
