Cyclone Biparjoy Affect Continues In Rajasthan, Flood Alert
In Rajasthan, 59 people were rescued from Rajasthan's Jalore, Sirohi and Barmer districts which are facing a flood-like situation due to heavy rainfall caused by cyclonic storm Biparjoy, confirmed officials on June 19. UP CM Yogi Adityanath Issues Flood Alert To 10 Districts
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued flood alerts across ten districts, following an increase in the water level of Kuano river at Chandradeep ghat. Flood alerts have been issued to Gonda, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Deoria, Mau, Ballia and Ayodhya. He further gave instructions to the district magistrates and Superintendents of Police to take precautionary measures.
