Heavy Flooding In Southern Myanmar Displaces More Than 10,000 people
A senior official at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Lay Shwe Zin Oo, said constant rain in the Bago region that continued from the last week caused heavy flooding in the low-line areas of its capital, Bago town. It is said that there were no losses, but over 10,000 people had to abandon their homes. Bago town recorded 7.87 inches of rainfall hence it is its highest in 59 years.

Delhi Floods: Yamuna River Water Level Decreases With 207 Mark
The flood-like situation in Delhi is under control as the Yamuna River water level is below 208, watermark. On July 15, the Delhi Government said, the situation is better in the low-lying region and restoration work to tackle the damage done by heavy to very heavy rainfall in the past few days. Delhi Public Work Minister Atishi said a day's time would be needed to return to normal.

Red Category Alert Issued In Bihar Amid Rainfall
A red category warning asking authorities to be prepared for action to prevent disasters has been issued for parts of northeast India including Assam, Meghalaya, and Sikkim as well as Bihar as extremely heavy rain (over 20 cm) was likely there on Wednesday and Thursday. Heavy to very heavy rainfall was expected to continue in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh during the next two days, said the IMD.

Several Parts Of Mumbai Waterlogged Following Heavy Downpour: Maharashtra
Following heavy rainfall, several parts of the city of Mumbai have been waterlogged, as of September 13. The situation was at its very worst in Mumbai’s Simon area, with water levels extremely high, disturbing life. Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an “yellow alert” to Mumbai, and adjourning places like Pune, Thane, Raigad and Phalgar. Since June 1 to August 12, over 120 persons have lost their lives.

Pakistan Floods: 19 People Die In Last 24 Hours, Death Toll Nearing 1,200
As many as 19 persons died in the last 24 hours in Pakistan to the ongoing flood condition, on September 2. With this, the death toll has gone up to 1,186, since June 14. In the last 24 hours, 12 died in Sindh, four in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and three in Balochistan. Notably, the deceased include nine children. Also, the floods have hit over 80 districts wrecking havoc.

China Despatches 2 Military Cargo Aircrafts To Provide Aid To Flood-Hit Pakistan
Coming to Pakistan’s aid amid the grim flood situation across the country, China has despatched two large military cargo aircrafts to deliver supplies.
