Florence Nightingale Award

Bhanumati Gheewal, who works as a nurse at Sir Sayajirao General Hospital in Gujarat's Vadodara, has been awarded Florence Nightingale Award. Reportedly, Gheewal did exemplary work and received the ''award for COVID-19 Gynaec duties including the delivery of newborns and working during 2019 floods that had inundated the hospital." Last year, the award was given to Dr. Shailla Cannie, Principal of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Nursing College.
