Despite the end of the pandemic, flying and aviation are expensive for tourists and travelers. Here are some of the major reason behind the expensive flights, even after the aviation industry is back in business with full fledge. Notably, during the pandemic, to reduce the maintenance expense, the aviation industry, sold off some planes and laid off a bunch of staff, resulting in lack of resource.

Flying Likely To Be Expensive As Govt To Remove Cap On Fares
The Government of India is set to lift the cap on domestic airfare prices after more than two years, from August 31. With this, flying can be expensive, especially domestic flights, likely to impact all flyers. The move is designed to allow airlines more flexibility to raise fares, in an environment where fuel costs - the primary factor determining cost of air travel - are uncomfortably high.
