3.2 Cr Women In India Ran Out Of Food Due To Covid-19, Says Report

According to a report titled "Impacts of Covid-19 on women in low-income households in India", it has been found that nearly 3.2 crore women in India had "limited their food intake or ran out of food" during the Covid-imposed lockdown. The research was conducted by an advisory group Dalberg, over 15,000 women and 2,300 men across 10 states. Besides, they also talked about the availability of contraceptives and sanitary pads.

Kim Jong-un Orders to Hand Over Pet Dogs for Meat in Restaurants

According to a report in South Korea's newspaper Chosun Ilbo, North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un in July denounced having a dog at home as "a tainted trend of bourgeois ideology." As the country is facing food supply crises and with dog meat considered as a delicacy in the Korean region, Kim allegedly ordered the citizens to hand over their pet dogs to be used as meat in restaurants.
