According to a study, spinach can turn harmful if consumed in excess. However, consuming a small bowl of spinach daily won’t lead to any side effects. It contains histamine, which might trigger a minor pseudo allergic effect. The green vegetable has loads of fibre, that can lead to stomach issues such as bloating, gas, and cramps. Reportedly, people who suffer from joint pain should avoid the consumption of spinach.

A family in Andhra Pradesh went viral on social media for making 365 dishes for future son-in-law. On January 17, Achanta Govind and Nagamoni, organised the huge feast on January 14, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in West Godavari. The grand feast include, 30 types of curries, biriyani, pulihora, 100 different types of dishes, deserts, ice-creams, pastries and other items. The grand gesture is being appreciated by netizens.

Natalia Cano from New Jersey's Mendham contracted Coronavirus in January, 2021, which changed her sense of taste and smell. Reportedly, she now has a condition named parosmia, which makes her food taste like 'garbage' and 'sewage'. Due to the condition, she developed an eating disorder and now throws up food anytime she tries to eat. "It's gasoline. It's ammonia. It's bitter. It's mold," she said.

A 2,400-year-old body preserved in a bog was re-analyzed by scientists that revealed the traces of the last meal eaten by man before his death. Reportedly, the meal contained porridge and fish.
