Commerce Ministry Likely To Announce New Foreign Trade Policy On Sept 29

The union Commerce ministry is likely to announce the new foreign trade policy for the next five years on September 29, reported PTI. Notably, the current FTP (2015-2020) will expire on September 30. This is a highly anticipated move, because the policy which was supposed to end in 2020, was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new foreign trade policy is expected to promote the country’s outbound shipments.
