Free Entry

The Archaeological Survey of India has announced a free entry offer for women in historical monuments across the nation on March 8, given International Women's Day. The order stated that the free entry at recognised 3,691 protected monuments and archaeological sites would be applicable for foreign women too. Tourism minister Prahlad Singh Patel said, "On this Women's Day, we will showcase our respect to the devis.”
