Delhi Govt Extends Free Ration Scheme For Another 6 Months
In a big relief to poor people, the Arvind Kejriwal government has decided to extend its free ration scheme for the next six months. The announcement was made by CM Kejriwal during a press conference on December 20. ''Now the facility of giving free ration to the people here has been extended till May 31,'' said Arvind Kejriwal. It'll benefit around 72.77 lakh people, reported ANI.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on November 6 announced that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has decided to extend its free ration scheme by six months until May 2022 in the capital. Delhi Govt To Give Rs 50,000 To Families Of COVID Victims
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on May 18 announced a compensation of Rs 50,000 to families of COVID-19 victims and monthly pension of Rs 2,500 to families that lost their only earning member. Besides, children who became orphans will be given Rs 2,500 till the age of 25 along with free education. CM Kejriwal also stated poor people without ration cards can also avail free monthly ration without showing income certificate.
