Rajasthan CM Announces Free Bus Service For Woman
Ashok Gehlot, the CM of Rajasthan, announced a special offer for female citizens of Rajasthan. Marking the International Women's Day, the Congress-led Government announced free bus travel for a day to all women. The service started on March 7, and will continue till March 8. Announced on Holi, it will be of maximum benefit to those who are travelling after celebrating the festival of Holi-Dhulandi

Railways Spent Rs 62 Crore In Last 5 Years On Free Rail Travel For Lok Sabha Members
Over the last five years, free rail travel for current and retired Lok Sabha members have cost the treasury Rs 62 crore. According to reports under Right to Information Act, this includes approximately Rs 2.5 crore in the pandemic-hit 2020-21 fiscal year. While MPs are permitted to travel for free in first class air-conditioned or executive class on trains, their spouses are also permitted to do so under certain restrictions.

Will Give 20L Jobs To Youth, Free Bus Travel For Women: Cong In UP Poll
Ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh election, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on October 31 promised to provide jobs to 20 lakh youths and women would be allowed to travel for free by bus. Furthermore, she said women would get three free gas cylinders in a year, ASHA workers will receive Rs 10,000 monthly. The Congress government will hike the purchase price of Wheat and paddy to Rs 2,500.
