Philippines Reopens Its Borders To Fully COVID Vaccinated Travelers

The Philippines government has reopened its border for fully vaccinated International tourists. However, since February 10, the Island has started welcoming the US travelers. Fully Vaccinated Pilgrims Can Visit Gurdwara Sahib Kartarpur: Pakistan

On the death anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev in September, the Pakistan government permits pilgrims to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur on August 22. Reportedly, only fully vaccinated citizens against COVID-19 with an RT-PCR test which has to be taken within 72 hours are permitted. Besides, Pakistan will also conduct the test at airports and limit the number of people to 300 at the shrine.

QR Passes For Mumbaikars To Board Local Trains: Mayor Kishori Pednekar

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar informed on August 10 that QR passes will be available to fully vaccinated Mumbaikars at 65 railway stations allowing them to board local trains from August 15. The QR codes will aid the railway authorities to substantiate the authenticity of people traveling in local trains. Besides, an app will be launched where passengers with smartphones can download QR passes.

Saudi Arabia To Welcome Fully Vaccinated Foreign Travellers

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has lifted the travel restrictions from foreign travelers from August 1. Reportedly, fully vaccinated people can enter Saudi Arabia along with a vaccination certificate and a negative RT-PCR report before 72 hours of arrival. Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb said, “We welcome tourists again, and we are very happy to receive the Kingdom’s guests again after a pause".
