Gaganyaan Mission: ISRO Aborts Lift-Off Of India’s Human Space Mission

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Saturday aborted the launch of the first uncrewed test flight (TV-D1 Flight Test) in the Gaganyaan Mission. India Plans To Launch 'Gaganyaan' Before Next Independence Day

ISRO To Send 'Data Relay Satellite' To Track Gaganyaan Mission

To establish better contact throughout the Gaganyaan Mission, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch a 'data relay satellite' before the last stage of the mission. Reportedly, the Rs 800 crore project will serve as the medium to pass information from the Ganganyaan spacecraft to the ground stations on Earth by avoiding issues at the blind spots. The first leg Gaganyaan mission-unmanned will launch in December 2021.

ISRO Delays India's First Human Space Mission 'Gaganyaan' By 1 Year

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has postponed its first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’ by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the first manned-mission has been planned in December 2021, ISRO had scheduled two unmanned flights in December 2020 and July 2021. However, ISRO Chairman K.Sivan said that the launch might be rescheduled to 2021 or 2022. Moreover, he added Chandrayaan-3 project is in development.
