Pregnant Woman Kidnapped & Gang-Raped By 4 Men For 3 Days: Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district, a pregnant woman was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by four men for three days, informed police on August 19. According to the victim who is two months pregnant, she was abducted from a bus terminal in Farrukhabad and taken to Hardoi district. However, police investigation suspects that the woman’s relatives left her there in exchange for Rs 80,000.

6 Persons Arrested For Alleged Rape Of Minor In Odisha's Sambalpur
In Odisha's Sambalpur, six persons have been detained for allegedly raping a minor girl, informed officials on August 2. According to the FIR, the girl was lying unconscious near a good joint. When we regained consciousness, she alleged that she was raped by four men. A medical examination of the victim was conducted, and the aforementioned arrest was carried out.

9 Persons Arrested For Alleged Gang-Rape Of 11-Year-Old In Nagpur: Maharashtra
In Maharashtra's Nagpur, police arrested nine persons on July 30, for alleged involvement in the gang-rape of a minor. The prime accused in the case, is also an accused in a murder case. According to Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Puja Gaikwad, while investigating a murder case, police officers "stumbled upon information that their prime suspect is an alleged rapist too". Further details on the matter is awaited.

Three Men Rape Minor In Delhi's Vasant Nagar; Arrested
In Delhi's Vasant Nagar, police hage arrested three persons for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl. Reportedly, the incident occured on July 6, when the victim went on a joyride with two of her friends and one of their friends, in a car. All four of them went to Mahipalpur and consumed alcohol. Later, the three men took her to a secluded place and raped her in the car.

Hanskhali Gang-Rape Case: CBI Files Chargesheet Against 9 Accused In POCSO Court
In the Hanskhali gang-rape and murder case in Nadia district, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed chargesheet against nine accused, on July 9. According to the investigation, the minor victim was intoxicated and gang-raped by three accused. Following the incident, her parents were threatened by another three accused. After the girl died, the accused cremated her body, without giving an opportunity for medical examination.

Minor Sisters Gang Raped In Mau Village In Uttar Pradesh, 5 Arrested
In Uttar Pradesh's Mau region, a gang rape incident of two minor sisters (15&17-years-old) was reported, following which police arrested five people, confirmed police on July 3. The victim's father registered an FIR against five, who forced the two when they went out. Ghosi SHO Nagesh Upadhyay registered a case under the relevant IPC, and POCSO act, and arrested Vishal (22), Arun (19), Sudin (23), Jitesh (20) and Chandrakant (20).

Jubilee Hills Gang-Rape Case: 5 Minors & 1 Major Arrested In Alleged Rape Of 17-Year-Old Girl
In Telangana's Hyderabad, as many as six persons have been arrested in the Jubilee hills gang-rape case of a 17-year-old girl. Of the six, five accused are confirmed to be minors. Reportedly, four have already been produced before juvenile home. The incident took place on May 28, when the girl who attended Amnesia Pub, was allegedly forced in a Mercedes Benz car by a group of boys, and raped her.

1 Arrested In Hyderabad Teenage Girl's Gang-Rape Case; '3 Out Of 5 Accused Are Minors', Say Police
The police of Hyderabad have arrested one Saduddin Malik for alleged involvement in the gang-rape of a teenage girl in Jubilee hills. Furthermore, five accused out of which three are reportedly minor, have been identified using CCTV footages. The 17-year-old teenage girl was allegedly raped whole returning from a party in Hyderabad's Jubilee hills, on May 28. The matter came to light after her father lodged a complaint.

Woman Hires Goons To Gang-Rape 'Rival' For Having Affair With Her Husband: Hyderabad
Gayatri, allegedly hired five goons to gang-rape her rival, and film the act, in western Hyderabad's Kondapur. Reportedly, Gayatri's husband Srikanth was allegedly having an affair with the victim. According to a complaint filed by the victim, Gayatri invited the victim to her house, where the goons she hired raped her and filmed the act. Police have arrested six including Gayatri in the matter.

4 Men Held For Gang-Raping Monitor Lizard In Sahyadri Tiger Reserve: Maharashtra
In a bizarre incident, four men allegedly gang-raped a Bengal monitor lizard inside the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra. All four men have been identified. They had allegedly come to the Chandoli village for hunting. The incident came to light when the forest officials checked the phone of one of the men. The heinous act had been recorded on camera. This reptile is protected under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972.
