Earthquake Of Mangitude 6.9 Damages High-speed Rail Line In China
In the Qinghai province of China's western region, an earthquake of magnitude 6.9 on the Richter scale struck in the wee hours of January 8. It caused minor injuries to four people in Menyan Hui Autonomous County, reported PTI. Furthermore, a high-speed rail line service has been closed between Lanzhou in Gansu province to the Xinjiang region due to the damage to several tunnels.
