Nitin Gadkari Says 20 Tonne Of Garbage Used To Make UER II Ring Road

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, at an event, stated that the third ring road of Delhi, called Urban Extension Project (UER) II has been built by using 20 lakh tonnes of garbage. It is to be noted that the new project aimed at improving connectivity in the national capital will consist of 17 pedestrian subways, 27 flyovers, and 26 smaller bridges.

Helipad Landing Of BS Yeddyurappa Obstructed Due To Garbage, Video Goes Viral

The video of the cancelled landing of former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa was caught on camera. The video showed the helicopter coming close to the ground and flying back up after the garbage ground obstructed the landing at the helipad. The plastic covering the helipad had to be quickly removed by the security personnel on the ground. The helicopter was later successfully landed. The video went viral.

Fire Breaks Out In Manesar Sector 6, Gurugram, Reason Uncertain

In Haryana's Gurugram region, a massive fire broke out in a pile of garbage in the Manesar area. The incident happened on late night of April 25, near sector-6 of Manesar.  As of now, 35 fire tenders are presently trying to douse the flames.  Furthermore, as per the officials, the cause of this extreme fire in the region is not known and douse operation is underway.
