53 Persons Admitted To Hospital Following Poisonous Gas Leak: Andhra Pradesh
In Andhra Pradesh's Atchatapuram, as many as 53 persons have been admitted to hospital for treatment, following a poisonous gas leak incident in the Brandix area. According to district medical and health officer Hemanth, their conditions are stable as of now. All those injured, reportedly complained of difficulty in breathing, nausea and vomitting. The evacuation process in the premises is underway.

1 Killed, 2 Injured In Gas Leak At Ghatkopar Mumbai
In a tragic incident, one person died, while two others were hospitalized after inhaling gas leaked in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area in the morning of January 10, an official said. He said that the incident took place at Kurla Industrial Estate in Narayan Nagar, when methanol and cyanuric chloride leaked there. The cause of the gas leak was not immediately known, the official added.

6 Killed, 20 Hospitalized Due To Gas Leakage Incident: Surat
At least six people have died and 20 were admitted to hospital on January 6, after a gas leakage incident. The incident happened at a company in Sachin GIDC in Surat, Gujarat, informed Dr. Omkar Chaudhary the in-charge of Superintendent of the hospital. Delhi RK Puram Toxic Gas Leak; 5 Hospitalized, Investigation Underway

8 Died, 5 Injured In Gas Cylinder Explosion: China
Due to the explosion and fire in a residential building, eight people lost their lives, and five suffered injuries in China's Dalian on Sept 11. The building was evacuated, following the fire caused by the leakage in a liquefied gas cylinder. The injured ones have been admitted to the hospital and said to be in stable condition. Though, an investigation is underway to find the cause of the leakage.

Goa: Ammonia Gas Leak in Food Processing Plant Leaves One Dead
Ammonia gas leak at the Quality Foods plant in Cuncolim Industrial Estate in Goa, left one man dead and 4 others critically injured on October 9. The incident took place in the wee hours between 2:30 am and 2:45 am. “Some workers woke up and managed to escape from the site, but the deceased had remained behind,” Inspector Therron D'Costa informed. An unnatural death case has been registered at the Cuncolim police station.

Gas Cylinder Explosion Injures Six People In Vishakhapatnam
A gas cylinder explosion in Vishakhapatnam has injured atleast six people and destroyed the house. Reportedly, the explosion occurred when the owner of the house, Maheshwari, tried to fix a gas leakage that she noticed while connecting a new cylinder. The injured were rushed to a hospital after the fire was extinguished. As per the report, the owner is in critical condition.

Bangalore: 15 Injured and One Critical after Explosion at Power House
