Maharashtra: Guatala Autramghat Sanctuary Spots 1st Tiger Since 1940
Maharashtra's Guatala Autramghat Wildlife Sanctuary officials have spotted a tiger in the sanctuary after nearly eight decades of oblivion. Believed to have come from Yavatmal’s Tipeshwar Sanctuary, the tiger was spotted during March 11-15. It is expected to have travelled around 330km from Aurangabad in search of a prey.
