Huge Cache Of Arms & Ammunition Seized From Naxals In Bihar
A huge amount of arms and ammunition has been seized by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), on July 13. Reportedly, the arms and ammunition belonged to the Naxals, and the seizure was carried out in Bihar's Gaya. The seized items include one AK rifle, 250 ammo, 65 pressure Improvised Explosive Device (IED), 446 Series IED, 101 Can IED and 495 Detonators.

Panel Requests Centre To Change 'GAY' Code To 'YAG' For Gaya Airport: Bihar
The 'GAY' code for Gaya airport is inappropriate, claimed a Parliamentary panel. The IATA code 'GAY' has been in usage since the Gaya airport's operationalisation. The parliament asked to change the code name to 'YAG', saying 'GAY' name is inappropriate, unsuitable, offensive as Gaya is a holy city. Meanwhile, Union Aviation Ministry said, the IATA which gives code names denied to change unless code concerns air safety.

Indian Army's Aircraft Crashes At Gaya Training Academy, No Casualties Reported
An Indian Army aircraft crashed in Bihar's Gaya Training Academy, on January 28. Notably, the crash took place minutes after the take off, informed the Indian Air Force. "An aircraft of Indian Army's Officer's Training Academy in Gaya, Bihar, today crashed soon after taking off during training," said official. Notably, two pilots survived the crash. Earlier, an Indian Army Chopper crashed in Tamil Nadu, killing General Bipin Rawat.

Bihar Bride Rides Horse To Reach Wedding Venue; Thanks Husband
Sending the message of gender equality in society, a bride named Anuskha Guha rode a house to reach her wedding venue in Bihar's Gaya on December 14. Anuskha's mother said that she always said she would break the old tradition. Reportedly, Anuskha works as a senior air hostess with Indigo airlines. However, the bride thanked her groom for supporting her on the decision.

Bihar: Patwatoli Village Has An Engineer In Almost Every Household
