PM Modi To Meet Newly Appointed German Chancellor, Co-Chair Sixth IGC

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet up with the newly appointed German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, for the first in-person meeting, in Germany. He would also be co-chairing the sixth India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC). The two world leaders would then hold a round-table with top-most CEOs from both countries. Modi would also be engaging with the Indian diaspora in Germany.

Acting German Chancellor Angela Merkel To Step Down: Steffen Seibert

Acting German Chancellor Angela Merkel, is expected to step down from the post on December 8. German Government Spokesperson Steffen Seibert, on December 3, released an official statement for the same. The statement read, "This Chancellorship will end, as we see it today, with the election of new Chancellor Olaf Scholz which is scheduled for Wednesday." Notably, this time, Germany will have only one Chancellor.

Merkel Meets Putin For Bilateral Talks; Quarrel Over Navalny
