'New India Willing To Take Risks,' Says Modi In Germany

PM Narendra Modi said during an address in Berlin that the "New India" does not just think about a secure future, but is also willing to take risks. During his address to the Indian diaspora, he stressed on the need for "minimum government" and "maximum governance." He also took a dig at the opposition, saying, "Before 2014, everything you used to see, everything would be a work in progress."

PM Modi To Meet Newly Appointed German Chancellor, Co-Chair Sixth IGC

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet up with the newly appointed German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, for the first in-person meeting, in Germany. He would also be co-chairing the sixth India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC). The two world leaders would then hold a round-table with top-most CEOs from both countries. Modi would also be engaging with the Indian diaspora in Germany.

Rare Franz Marc Painting Up For Sale; Estimated To Fetch $47 Million

A painting by German expressionist Franz Marc, returned last year from a museum to the descendants of a Jewish collector who fled the Nazis, will be auctioned. The rare painting features 'The Foxes (Die Füchse)', featuring two brightly colored, intertwined foxes. "It'll be an amazing moment for the art world because Franz Marc's important pictures are incredibly rare," told Jussi Pylkkänen to Reuters.

Circus Performer Crashes 20 Feet To The Ground As Stunt Goes Horribly Wrong

In a horrific accident Lukasz Malewski, a professional circus performer fell 20 feet to the ground at the FlicFlac circus. The incident took place in Duisburg, Germany when the arena was packed with audience. "I have bruised ribs, hip, shoulder. It felt like a car had hit me. But I’m alive," Lukasz Malewski told the Daily Mail. Lukasz was immediately taken to the hospital.

Man spends Rs 12 Lakh On Body Mods To Look 'Inhuman'

A 28-year-old man from Germany's Ore Mountains, spent £12,500 (Rs 12,61,648) on extreme body modification turning himself into a "devil". He wanted to look "as inhuman as possible". He is on Instagram by the name, Black Depression. "Over the years I developed my own trend, which nobody else wears," said the German artist. He is still not satisfied and is willing to do more modifications in the future.

'Supplier' Involved In Ludhiana Court Complex Blast Arrested In Germany
