Shocking! Driver Drags Cattle Beneath Car For 200 Meters, Video Goes Viral

In a shocking incident, a cow was dragged for about 200-metres after being hit by a car in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera. The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. After the incident, the accused fled the spot. Meanwhile, the cattle is being treated at a nearby animal hospital and is said to be critical and a case is registered.

Doctor In Ghaziabad Receives Threats Of Beheading Via WhatsApp: Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, a doctor has allegedly received death threats from an unknown number via WhatsApp call. Dr Arvind Akela is reportedly associated to Hindu organisations, and makes a few statements. According to the complainant, the caller had a profile picture of a masked man, who over call, threatened to behead Akela. The police stated that Akela hasn’t asked for protection yet. Priti Sharma (32), a resident Ghaziabad's Tulsi Niketan, has been arrested while she tried to dispose the remains of her partner in a trolley bag. Reportedly, Sharma was in a live-in relationship with her partner Firoz Salmani (23). She allegedly slit his throat after an altercation on August 6. According to the police, she murdered Salmani after he refused to marry her. Further details are awaited.

In UP's Ghaziabad, a five-year-old girl is being tested for Monkeypox virus, after she complained of itching and rashes on her body. According to Ghaziabad's Chief Medical Officer, the test is being done only as a "precautionary measure" as the girl has no other health problems and was not in close contact with anyone who traveled abroad. Monkeypox has been reported as endemic in various parts of the world.

Private School In Ghaziabad Shut After 2 Students Test COVID Positive

A private school in Ghaziabad has been shut as a precautionary measure after two students from Classes 3 and 9 tested positive for COVID-19. Reportedly, the students remained absent for three days, after which the school was informed. The principal, in a letter to the parents, announced to conduct classes online from Monday to Friday of this week. Also, the offline classes will reportedly resume after the Easter holidays.

21-Year-Old Indian Student Shot Dead In Canada, Jaishankar Expresses Condolences

In Toronto, Canada, a 21-year-old student from Ghaziabad (UP), was shot dead at the Sherbourne subway on April 7. "The man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," said Canadian police. Notably, Kartik Vasudev was a first-semester Marketing Management student at Seneca College in Toronto and he was shot while he was on his way to the Mexican restaurant.
