Schools Shut For Girl Students Under Taliban Regime: Afghanistan
Schools in Afghanistan have been shut for girls from classes 7 to 12, after the Taliban took over. TOLO news reported that girls in the country were concerned about their uncertain future. Furthermore, the Islamic Emirate is yet to allow girls to attend school. Reportedly, the ban is temporary due to lack of resources. An Afghan girl student said, "We hope the classes beyond grade six will be started."

Bihar Govt To Give Rs 50k To Girls Complete Graduation After April 2021
Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, the Bihar government will give Rs 25,000 to girl students who completed graduation after 2018. However, those girls who graduated after April 1, 2021, will receive Rs 50,000. The proposal has also been passed by the state education department. It also passed Rs 134 crore for the scheme. The amount will directly be transferred to the student's bank account.

Bihar Govt Announce Funds For Girls To Motivate For Higher Education
To motivate girls for higher education, the Bihar Government has announced a grant of Rs 50,000 to graduated girls and Rs 25,000 to girls passing in the intermediate examination. The decision was made at a cabinet meeting to provide financial assistance under CM Kanya Utthan Yojana. Reportedly, the scheme would come to effect immediately, and the funds will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries' bank account.
