Africa Crosses Over 9.5 Million COVID-19 Cases, Contributes 3.3% Of Global Caseload

Africa recorded over 9.5 million COVID-19 cases on December 22, confirmed the Africa Centers For Disease Control. South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Ethiopia are countries which reported the maximum number of cases. In addition, the nation reported 2,26,536 deaths.  Meanwhile, of the global COVID-19 cases, the continent contributes a total of 3.3% cases, whereas death percentage is 4.3.
