Global Warming, Climate Change Major Cause Of Preterm Babies Death

The recently released 'Born Too Soon: Decade of Action on Preterm Birth' report by WHO, UNICEF and Partnership for Maternal New Born and Child Health highlights myriad impacts of climate change to be the reason for detahs of preterm babies. As per the report, 90% babies of low income nations died of massive air pollution, as unlike rich countries, they make no contribution towards climate change and global warming.

Japanese Researchers Appoint Seals To Collect Global Warming Data

Japanese researchers are training seals to survey under the thick ice sheet in Antarctica. To study global warming impacts, the researchers equipped seals with high-tech head-mounted measuring devices to gather observation data like water temperatures and salt levels, in areas with extremely harsh weather conditions. Notably, the data showed that the seals have covered a distance of 633km and a depth of 700m so far.

The United Kingdom's long lasting snow patch, "the Sphinx", which had survived through countless summer seasons, melted away for the eighth time in 300 years. Ironically, the snow patch found on Braeriach in Scotland, melted on the day COP26 was scheduled.
