The Viking Star - First Cruise Ship With COVID-19 Testing Lab

Amid the ongoing pandemic, a cruise ship has got a COVID-19 testing laboratory within it, a first-of-its-kind development. As per reports, a posh cruise ship, 'The Viking Star', will have an inbuilt PCR testing lab. The ship can take as much as 930 passengers on board and test them at a larger scale as well. It will begin sailing from December 2021 and will carry travellers for 136 days around the globe.

US-based Travel Company to Offer Titanic Wreckage Expedition

US based travel company, OceanGate Expeditions is set to offer six 10-day expeditions for explorers to dive and experience the wreck site of RMS Titanic likely in May 2021. Groups of “citizen scientists” will join the experts to dive 3,800 meters into the North Atlantic to scientifically study the present condition of the wreckage. The expedition is open for scientists and travel enthusiasts.
