Goa Police Arrest Man In Rape Allegations Of Tourist Woman, Probe Underway
The Goa police have arrested a man from Gujarat for allegedly raping a woman tourist at a resort in Assonora village of North Goa, confirmed an official. The incident took place on August 23, and based on the woman's complaint, the police arrested the 47-year-old accused, identified as Laxman Shiyar, who was also on a visit to Goa as a tourist. The duo met on a flight, and befreinded.

CBI Issues Notice To Arvind Kejriwal In Delhi Excise Scam
After AAP ministers, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) issued a summon notice to Arvind Kejriwal, the President of AAP and Delhi Chief Minister. the CBI issued the notice in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam, and asked the CM to appear on April 16. This seems like double trouble for the Delhi CM, as earlier the Goa Police also issued a summon to Kejriwal, asking him to appear.

Goa Police Is Ready To File Charge Sheet Of Sonali Phogat Death Case
The Goa Police is finally ready to file a charge sheet in the BJP MLA Sonali Phogat Death Case. On September 9, Superintendent of Police (North) Shobit Saxena said, the police team is in good place in investigation and is set to file a charge sheet. "Three Investigating officers are analysing the investigation of this case. It is being reviewed at senior level," said Saxena.

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar Assures CBI Probe: Sonali Phogat Death Case
Highlighting the recent development in the Sonali Phogat death case, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar assured a CBI probe. On August 27, the Khattar-led government said, they would write to the Goa government seeking a CBI probe in the death of 42-year-old BJP MLA and actor Phogat. Mumbai YouTube Arrested With MDMA, Peddles Drugs In Events: Goa Police
The Goa police arrested a Mumbai-based Youtuber MC Kurban (25) along with a Delhi woman (29) with banned synthetic drug MDMA, worth Rs 7 lakh. The drug was seized from their possession, confirmed North Goa SP Shobhit Saxena. He said, "He tries to get into events due to his identity as a rapper and there he peddles his drugs". A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
